    :p

I cannot believe or even begin to understand the turn of events that has happened lately. It’s so odd how you think life will go and how it actually goes. Just when I thought that winter would be here forever… spring comes. And it’s a beautiful spring. Of course I’m speaking metaphorically. I just can’t believe it. These things that are unfolding right in front of me are things that I didn’t believe were possible anymore. I didn’t have that much hope left. And tonight… well, tonight’s the kicker. We’ll see what happens.

There’s only one problem. Well, it’s kind of a big problem. And there’s only one way to fix it, and that’s to hurt someone: what I despise doing more than anything else in the world. But that season has passed, and I’m moving on. So… sometimes this is just the way it has to be.

By the way, if you would like this journal entry without all the metaphors, read my other journal. If you know the address… HAHAHA!!! *ahem* Sorry.

It is like a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I have never felt so lucky and grateful to God.

I went to court tonight to see about my citation. I was so extremely nervous!! I needed to cry and/or throw up and I think the only reason I didn’t is because I couldn’t decide which I needed to do more. There were a LOT of people, which partly helped and partly didn’t. I was almost last which was very helpful. I was more bored than scared by the time he got to me.

“LS… you are charged with no insurance. How do you plead?”
Me. Very timidly and stumbling to get to the front: “N-no contest, your honor.”
Judge: “Well… have you gotten insurance?”
    And my mom steps in.

I feel like such a loser for having my mom with me. I’m 19 years old for jeez sakes. But I think she really helped. She proceeded to tell a long sob story about our insurance, and ended with the speech that sounds vaguely like a resume, about how I’m an honor student and I got this big scholarship to NSU, and how wonderful I was. The whole time I’m nudging her arm, yeah… like that’ll get her to stop. I think it just egged her on more. My face HAD to have turned 15 shades of red. The judge even leaned towards me and whispered: “Are you embarrassed?” I, in the same timid “deer caught in headlights” voice: “Yes.”

And then I heard the magic words: “Dismissed with no cost.”

I can finally get back to life again.

Hi everyone! It’s such a beautiful day. I love it. I think I might have that seasonal depression thing, because whenever the sun is out I just can’t help feeling happy, no matter what’s going on.

I started designing the theater website, but it’s not uploaded yet. I do have a little preview on my site, go look! Remember it’s not finished, I think the only link that works is Movie Listings. But you can still get the idea.

I’ve made a new online journal. This one’s more secretive and very in depth, so if you want the address, you have to e-mail me for it. And please don’t be offended if I don’t give it to you, that doesn’t mean I don’t like you, or I’m talking bad about you, it just means there are things in the journal that I may not want you to know. Geez, that sounds just as bad. Oh, well, just know that it’s not, because I say so.

Yeah, that’s all I have to say, except Melly’s little bean is soo adorable. Good job Melly!!

    Thank goodness!

I found this synopsis in my Roswell club for Chant Down Babylon (Feb. 26th):
“We learn that Max really isn’t dead but that his spirit has been absorbed into Clayton’s body as a result of Max’s healing in the previous episode – more than that, Clayton now looks like Max but he’s dueling to keep Max’s spirit from taking over. Believing that ridding Liz’s presence within his mind will help free him, Clayton (who looks like Max now) goes to Vermont to find and kill Liz. Meanwhile, Liz and Maria learn of Max’s death and are in a state of mourning. When Clayton/Max shows, Liz eventually comes to believe she must kill this Max/Clayton person, and in her play to do so, she actually brings Max back to life, killing Clayton in the process. Meanwhile, Isabel is fatally wounded in the fight to save Max at the lab, and in Michael and Jesse’s efforts to save her, Jesse is told the truth about her alien identity.”

Yay! New layout. ^-^ Told you I’d do it. You didn’t believe me, did you? That’s what I thought.

I took this picture!! Isn’t it pretty? Okay, I’m overly happy so I’m going to bed now. Oh, tell me if you run into any problems with all those pop-up windows. So many of them kind of scare me. O_o Night.

Yeah… it’s people like Steppy that make me feel like I can’t design a pile of dog crap. So I’m making a new design. Simpler. I’m already tired of this layout. *sigh*

I’m going to create artography, probably tomorrow, cause I scanned a whole bunch of my pictures today. Woohoo!! And I’m going to design and update the theater’s webpage!! It’s gccmovies.com if you want to go look at it right now. I have to go create now! Bye!

Ah, spring… the time when a young man’s fancy turns to military endeavors.

Happy V-Day. I guess. I really actually like Valentine’s Day, whether I’m with anyone or not, but a lot of lonely people today have been biting my head off for smiling. But, actually, when I stop to think about it, a lot of things in my life suck. I think they’re getting better though. I hope. Off to work… maybe I’ll have an epiphany on the way to work and be happy. My hair’s in a ponytail. That makes me happy. 🙂

OH MY GOD!!!!! MAX IS DEAD!!!

I can’t believe it. I didn’t think they would actually kill him off. My poor Max. *sniff* Actually, I’m not crying. Last week’s episode was a tearjerker, but now I’m just like, “No! No! Nooooo!” And there’s not another episode until the 26th! And this is the last season! If they make him stay dead and just finish it all sad, I’m gonna be pissed! Liz should bring him back with her alien powers or by the power of her love for him or something! AAAAACK!

Okay, sorry. Back to the real world. But you know I just love that show so much. *sigh* I have a huge Organic Chemistry test tomorrow so I have to go study! Ciao!

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about time. The past, the future, where I have been and where I will be. Yesterday I had to find some pictures because my scanner’s working again, and I came across so many high school memories. Some make me terribly sad, others make me glad I’m done with it, and still others…

I used to feel like I didn’t belong, and I was never a part of these people that I saw every day, but now I realize that I was a part of them, because they were a part of me. So it’s impossible to think sad thoughts when I think of high school. Only happy memories. 🙂

And now I’m thinking of my future. I can’t wait to be something great. I just know I will be, because I believe it and I’m willing to work hard and put all my effort into it. I figured out my schedule for the rest of my time here at NSU, and with the Environmental Science minor, it’s going to be a lot easier because most of the required classes, I’ve already taken with the Chem major. So I’m pretty happy. If I can just get through this tough semester, it should be my last hard one. This week is going to be especially hard though, because I have 4 tests and I work Mon, Wed, Thurs, and Sat. I can’t believe how many hours I work this week. She must really like me. ^-^

I love this song: Trouble by Coldplay. It’s just beautiful.

Life is slightly better because I have a new perspective on things. I think it’s because I’ve created a plan to make me happy. Well, actually I just picked the direction I want to go. I prayed for direction, I got it the very same day, in the form of a speaker at the prayer meeting I went to. He was talking about the universe as a whole, and it hit me: I want to be an astronomer. It’s what I’ve always thought of ever since I was little. People always say that. “I knew what I wanted to do since the age of 7 or so.” But I never thought I knew. Until I realized I always looked up at the night sky and wondered what was out there. I had just always put it out of my head because no college around here offers it, and my mom always said that would be a horrible choice because of the bad pay. But I don’t care. I love it, and that’s what I’m going to do. Obviously, NSU doesn’t have an astronomy major, so I’m going to finish the Chemistry and minor in Environmental Science, and then go to OU. 🙂 I’m excited.

Hmm… maybe I could work for NASA someday. I still want to do that FBI Internship though. That would be awesome. We’ll see how it pans out.

Yay easy taxes with TeleFile. Let’s just hope they come before I have to pay that nice citation. Yech.
